Symphony Told to Keep It Down
An article on the way that noise laws are now affecting symphony orchestras in Britain.
New Songs
Today one of our production guys asked for upbeat songs to use in the background of a church video. These are a few of the songs that I recommended – good stuff out there these days, some that friends had recommended to me.
Title, then artist, then album.
O For a Thousand Tongues – David Crowder – Remedy
Happy Day – Tim Hughes – Holding Nothing Back
Be Praised – Michael Gungor Band
Thank You for the Cross – Kathryn Scott – I Belong
At the Cross – Daniel Renstrom – Adore and Tremble
The Hymnary
The Calvin Institute of Christian Worship and CCEL have launched a new subsite called The Hymnary. You can search tons of hymns and scripture songs, and search by specific texts, specific hymnals, etc.
Psalms
Dave Wilcox’s blog currently has a number of photos of what we’re doing visually for our Psalms series (for those who are interested in such things). Would love to hear any feedback.
