For all you vegetable lovers out there, check out the Vienna Vegetable Orchestra.

From the FAQ section on their site: “It is hard to play on bad or non-fresh vegetables as they prove to be unreliable. If an instrument breaks just before or during a solo for example, it is often because of a low quality vegetable.”

Toyota has created a robot that plays the violin.  It’s actually 5 feet tall!

The bow hold looks OK, although it is an innovative chin rest position.  The robot was made to demonstrate the dexterity in limbs by using real instruments.
